Upon arriving home to Christchurch after 4yrs on the Gold Coast, Matt & Charmaine McFarlane saw a niche' market for Cosmetic Teeth Whitening.
Matt & Charmaine had a Day Spa with Cosmetic Teeth Whitening as one of the services. Teeth whitening is everywhere on the Gold Coast, in malls, salons & day spas.
Cosmetic Teeth Whitening has grown into a multi billion dollar industry and is currently the MOST REQUIRED COSMETIC PROCEDURE ON THE MARKET.
Charmaine began her mobile teeth whitening in Christchurch July 2009, realising very quickly how popular this service was, that she decided to branch out throughout NZ introducing New Zealands very first Mobile Teeth Whitening Company.
Charmaine & Matt now have more than 20 Sparklewhite Teeth Licensees on board and the business is still growing, with Dental Nurses, Dental Technicians, Dental Assistants, Registered nurses to name but a few on the team throughout NZ.
All Sparklewhite Teeth Licensees have been through stringent and ongoing training, and are all certified in Cosmetic Teeth Whitening and recently certified in the NZCTWA (NZ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Association)training program please visit www.nzctwa.org.nz .
The affordability of the treatments comes from Charmaine buying stock in from a dental supplier so there is no middle man getting their cut on the way through. Her overheads are a lot less than other teeth whitening services available, which means that she can pass on the savings to the public.
An exciting addition to the Sparklewhite Teeth service is the "Teeth Whitening Parties" these have taken off all over NZ.

The New Zealand Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Association (NZCTWA) has been established to provide a self-regulatory body for the fast growing non-dentist Cosmetic Teeth Whitening industry throughout New Zealand.
It's mission is to protect the public by regulating members throughout New Zealand by setting:
- High Professional standards of Cosmetic Teeth Whitening practice and conduct.
- Ensuring the quality of Cosmetic Teeth Whitening education and training.
- Keeping non dentist practitioners up-to-date with global 'best practice' and new Cosmetic Teeth Whitening applications and developments.
- Being at the forefront of any regulation changes that affect members.
The Associations members as individuals and in their commercial capacity have a responsibility to ensure that the functions of the Association are effectively discharged in the interests of the public and public safety.
Members represent two professional groups:
- Over-The-Counter [OTC] Teeth Whitening systems designed for unsupervised home use, generally sold by chemists, supermarkets, beauty salons, spas and non dentist teeth whitening practitioners.
- Non Dentist Teeth Whitening Practitioners of the Beauty & Appearance Enhancement Industry.
